Bits & Bytes from around the library

I thought I would use this week’s post to share various bits of information, news, and upcoming events pertaining to the library.

Did you know….

…that as of November, Warner Library now has access to MORE electronic books (180,000) than print books (144,281)?! Take advantage of our ebook databases-

…we have access to a great classical music database? Through database vendor Alexander Street Press, our Classical Music Library recently had 21,500+ tracks added to it. As finals loom in the near future, relax with the classical sounds from some of the world’s greatest composers.

…our average filled turn around time for RAPID ILL requests in the month of October was 12.45 hours? Last month, the entire RAPID ILL system received 136,356 requests, with 96% of the requests filled. What are you waiting for? Give RAPID as try!

…we offer EXTENDED hours during finals? Late next week, check the library website and look for signs posted advertising our extended hours of operation. Make sure to take advantage of these extra hours!

…it’s that time of year…. doughnut night is coming…. stay tuned!

Now you know!
