New way to request library books

This semester we’ve rolled out a new, streamlined way of requesting books held at Warner Library, Palmer Library, and the Curriculum Lab. Previously, to request books from a different Eastern Library (Warner, Palmer, Curriculum Lab), users would complete our Intralibrary Loan form.

Our new process enables you to place requests for books while searching the library catalog.

Sign into your library catalog account using your Eastern University ID number. Search for the book you want, and click “Place Hold”. It’s that simple!

Also new is the ability to place holds on books currently checked-in or checked-out. (Before, you were only permitted to place holds on unavailable books.)

You are notified via email when the book is ready to be picked up at your desired library (Warner, Palmer, Curriculum lab).
