It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Warner Library! We have lots of fun displays for Eastern’s students, faculty, and staff to check out when they stop by. We also have some fun events coming up as well!

Starting today, we are hosting a Snowflake Making Contest. Students are encouraged to come to the library and visit our fun display and make a paper snowflake in the classic way of folding the paper into a square, and cutting at the edges to create a paper snowflake. When students make one, they can add their name and Eastern email to the back, and then starting on the 9th, the students will vote for whose snowflake they like the best. The winner will receive the Christmas Movie Cookbook – a perfect holiday gift for the chef in your family. Feel free to take a selfie with Frosty, Santa, and Rudolph too!

On December 12th, we will be hosting our annual Donut Nite. Stop by at 9PM for some donuts, as well as hot drinks like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate – all for free! We’ll be going until the donuts are gone!

In the mean time, we have candy canes available at the front desk for students to take on their way to their next class, and closer to finals, we’ll have hot water and tea available as well.

To everyone that attends our events, we hope we can bring a smile to your face during what can be a stressful time for many. We wish you all luck on your finals, and congrats to those of you that will be graduating!
