Library now offers access to NYT and its archive

New this semester to our Eastern community is access to the New York Times. Through the newspaper’s “pass” feature, our students, staff and faculty can gain access to and NYTimes app from any device that connects to the internet, whether you’re on- or off-campus.

To get started you’ll first need to create an account within our New York Times subscription, while on-campus (distance learners can contact the Reference Desk for help setting up their account). Visit to register (you must use your Eastern email address). Once you’ve registered while on-campus, you’ll now have access to and the NYTimes app from off-campus.
